mangaey pajji (mango chutney)

Ingredients:

  1. 3 Ripe Mangoes (skinned & cut into cubes)
  2. 3 cups Yoghurt
  3. 5 tablespoons coconut (grated)
  4. 1 teaspoon mustard
  5. 1 green chili
  6. Ginger
  7. 2 Red Chilies
  8. 1 Onion
  9. 5 curry leaves
  10. Lime juice
  11. A pinch of salt
  12. A pinch of sugar

Grind the coconut, 1 teaspoon mustard,  ginger,  chili, yoghurt to a fine paste & mix with the mangoes. The onion has to be cut finely and fried till it is golden brown, mix with the already prepared masala. Mustard, curry leaves,  red chilies, salt, sugar and lime juice are added.
